A co-signer must be 18 or over and can be from any country.
They complete a short co-signer application: personal and address details,
verification of a credit card (debit cards are not accepted), and identity
verification using a passport or national ID card. A driving licence is not
accepted as ID.
A co-signer does not need to provide proof of income, savings,
affordability or any other financial records — co-signers are not assessed on
income.
We accept a single co-signer per application. The co-signer is a co-signatory
to the guarantee agreement, so choose someone who understands that this is a
serious legal commitment.
