We verify the identity of every applicant.
For most applicants a passport or a national ID card is sufficient. For some
applications we may ask for one or more specific forms of identification — for
example an ID card — and which ones depends on the details of that application.
You will be asked for the relevant form of identification as you go through your
application, so there is no need to work out in advance which documents yours
will need.
