Finding your way around

The sidebar, search, keyboard shortcuts and the branch switcher.

The sidebar is the main navigation. Applications, Action required and Invitations are the working queues; Team & branches, Audit log and Settings sit under Organisation management and are visible to head office.

Search — the field in the top bar, or press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) to focus it. One query searches tenants and properties together, over name, email address, university, address and reference, with the results grouped under Tenants and Properties.

In the applications table, press J and K to move between rows, Enter to open the highlighted application, and Esc to clear the selection. Shortcuts never fire while typing in a field.

The top bar carries, left to right: search, the Help Centre, the create menu (invite a tenant, start an application, add a team member), notifications, recently viewed, and the account menu. The notifications badge is the number of applications in Action required, so it always agrees with the sidebar.

The branch switcher at the top of the sidebar filters the whole portal to one branch. It appears for companies with more than one branch and members whose role spans branches.

A one-minute tour is available at any time from the account menu under Take the tour.
