A co-signer supports your application by verifying their identity, providing a valid credit card, and signing the agreement. They are not expected to pay your rent directly to the landlord. However, if The Student Guarantor has to pay a valid rent claim on your behalf, or if part of your guarantor fee remains unpaid, the co-signer may be required to reimburse The Student Guarantor under the terms of the agreement.
