Roles and permissions

What head office, branch management, agents and view-only members can each see and do.

Every member of your company has one of three roles, and may additionally be marked view only.

  • Head office — full access to every application and every setting, including Team & branches, the audit log and company settings.

  • Branch management — access to the branches assigned to them, and to the members within those branches.

  • Agent — access to applications in their assigned branch, plus any application not yet assigned to a branch.

All roles can add tenants and send invitations. Two capabilities have finer rules:

  • Confirm rent details — available to agents only where it has been enabled for their branch (Team & branches → branch settings).

  • Invite and manage colleagues — head office manages everyone; branch management manages members of their own branches only.

A member marked view only has read-only access within their scope, whatever their role.

Roles are changed from Team & branches → ⋯ → Change role and take effect as soon as they are saved. Applications and invitations are unaffected. One member is the account owner; only the owner can transfer ownership.
